VibeCouncil Privacy Policy

VibeCouncil: The AI Jury (“VibeCouncil”, “we”, “us”) is an entertainment app developed by Berkay Egeli. We built it to be private by design: no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no personal data stored on our servers.

1. Information stored on your device

The following is saved only on your device and never on our servers:

  • Your name, birth date and birth time
  • Your chats with the council and its members
  • Things the council remembers about you (“Memory”)
  • Your settings (language, theme, daily reminder time)
  • Your crystal balance

You can delete your chats and memories anytime in Settings. Deleting the app removes all of this data permanently.

2. Information sent to process your requests

The council’s replies are written by artificial intelligence. When you send a message, start a council session or share a photo, we send the following to OpenAI through our server so a reply can be generated:

  • Your message and the recent conversation
  • Photos you choose to share
  • Your name, birth date, birth time and sun sign
  • Relevant things the council remembers about you

Our server only passes this information along. It does not save, log or sell it. OpenAI processes it under its API data usage policies. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models, and it may keep data for up to 30 days to monitor abuse before deleting it.

The app asks for your permission before any information is sent to OpenAI.

3. Purchases

Crystal purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to process purchases and deliver your crystals. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your device type and your purchase history. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions

  • Photos: only used when you choose a photo to share with the council.
  • Notifications: only used for the optional daily reminder, which is scheduled on your device.

You can change these permissions anytime in your device settings.

5. What we don’t do

  • We don’t require an account or email address.
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
  • We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
  • We don’t sell or rent your information.

6. Children

VibeCouncil is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us at hello@berkaegean.com and we will help.

7. Your rights

Your personal data lives on your device, so you are in control: you can view, edit or delete it anytime in the app. If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you can contact us with any privacy request and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Entertainment only

VibeCouncil’s replies are AI-generated and meant for entertainment. They are not professional advice.

9. Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
